.DS_Store messages in Downloads folder

I am seeing "File .DS_Store is busy. Skipping for now." when Hazel is attempting to process the Downloads folder. Most of my rules pertain to the Downloads folder, and this evening, I have watched Hazel and noted it seems to be not processing Downloads due to this message - I have a file that's been waiting for an hour now to be processed (I confirmed with Preview that it matches one of my rules). I've tried stopping Hazel and restarting it, but with no success.

I'd appreciate your thoughts/ideas.
