You'll need to figure out some way to identify the folder. Here's an article on how to create nested conditions that might help: https://www.noodlesoft.com/kb/how-to-cr ... onditions/

Maybe look for folders that don't have that file under them?

Hi Mr Noodle,
The solution you have presented for this problem does not work for me.
I need to find an movie file in a folder, move it to another folder and then delete the original folder.
I've tried with Applescript and Hazel, but I haven't been successful in getting the name of the folder to be destroyed.
Can you help ? Thanks in advance.

Can you post more details on what you are trying to accomplish?

Thanks for your interest.
I go through a directory where folders are. I read the contents and whenever I find a movie type file, I move it to another directory. So far so good.
I was trying then to delete the specific folder where the deplaced movie file has been, but cannot find a way to get the name of this parent folder in order to move it to the trash. I tried Applescript and Hazel, but did not succeed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm not sure why you need the name specifically. Is the folder empty after moving the movie out? If not, is it enough to move the folder based on the fact that it no longer has a movie file in it? If so, then my previous answer should fit.

The name is needed to delete the right folder. There are other folders not containing movie files in this directory.

Can you not add a name condition to match on that? I guess it's not clear to me where the problem is.
