Trying to Delete old folders that are named "Old"

I have a folder called Products on my computer. Whenever I replace old versions of product photos with new versions, I keep the old versions in a folder called "Old". There may be dozens of "Old" folders inside the Products folder. I want to keep those Old folders around for one year, and then move them to the trash. I created this rule in Hazel that watches the Products folder:

If all of the following conditions are met:
[*]Kind is Folder
[*]Name contains Old
[*]Date Created is not in the last 1 year
Move to folder: Trash

I've had this rule for many years, and it has never worked. Any idea why? Is it perhaps because there are no "Old" folders immediately inside the Products folder, but instead they are buried a few folders deep?

I'm using Hazel 5.3.4 on macOS 14.6.1.

If it's not directly in the monitored folder, then you need to have a rule to get Hazel to go into subfolders to find those files. Check the Help on subfolders.

Also, the troubleshooting guide may be of help here: https://www.noodlesoft.com/kb/hazel-tro ... ing-guide/

Thank you! All this time, I never knew you made a help file so robust. The Help menu is typically so worthless in other applications, I've gotten accustomed to ignoring it.
