Error retrieving filesystem mount point Sun Dec 24, 2023 9:21 am • by nlucchesi
I recently replaced a failing internal HDD with an internal SSD.

Now when I run Hazel, none of my Rules are working and I think it’s because it can’t find the filesystem mount points, because there’s a message like this for each of my Rules in the log:

Code: Select all

Yes, I already read this knowledge base article, https://www.noodlesoft.com/kb/restoring-hazel-from-backups/, and verified that there are files at:
Code: Select all
~/Library/Application Support/Hazel/
~/Library/Preferences/com.noodlesoft.Hazel.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.noodlesoft.HazelHelper.plist

How do I re-associate each Rule with the location of its folder on the SSD?

Thank you.

PS: I’m running Hazel 5.3.1 (2371) on macOS 12.7.2 (21G1974)

I believe you emailed about this? I've already replied to you there so let's continue the discussion there. In the future, please only post or email, not both, to prevent duplication of effort and confusion.
