I upgraded from Hazel 4 to 5 on Big Sur 11.0.1 (20B29). None of my rules are run anymore, even though they do match according to the Rule Status screen. I have given Hazel full disk access in System Preferences and tried stopping and starting and rebooting and whatnot. I'm running Hazel 5.0.3 (2094). What am I missing?

Another weird issue is that Preview Mode doesn't let me select any folders to trial run on, they're all greyed out and I can only select a single file. Not sure if these two issues are related.

Code: Select all
.content img {
  height: auto;
  max-width: 100%;
}

That should fix images in the forum.

Please go through the troubleshooting guide here: https://www.noodlesoft.com/kb/hazel-tro ... ing-guide/

As for the preview, it will only allow you to select items under the folder being monitored.

Thanks, the logs show an error "Cannot find folder with id". I've sent a support request with the log file.

I see, thanks for clarifying that.

If you are getting that error, then your folders got disconnected. For each of the folders do the following:

- Export your rules.
- Remove the folder from Hazel.
- Add the folder back in.
- Import your rules and re-enable.
