Im new: What is your top advise for me to learn for wk 1

What I've done so far:
1. I copied Hazel User Guide
2. I added folders such as Downloaded, Desktops, iCloud Drive
3. I created some Rules but this is where I struggle. Nothing seems to work the way I want. I would like to learn what helped you the most when you were new to this app. Thank you so much for sharing.
