Hazel 5 Not working

I installed the update... everything seemed to work fine.

I can edit Rules. I can get a green preview on some of the documents...
But Hazel does not do anything? "Run rules now" does not change anything.

There still is a hazel prefPane...

What can I do to fix that?

I could remove the pref pane by right clicking and then removing it.
(Hazel support told me not to take the way of clicking on the pref pane as it might harm your rules and you need to restore from backup!)
Still,... the rules do nothing.
