Hazel no longer lists Shortcuts

I had a rule that would run a Shortcut on files when they were added to a folder. After the update to 6.0 (unfortunately, I am not certain this is when it happened because I used the rule/shortcut intermittently), Hazel says it cannot locate the shortcut even though it is still there in the Shortcuts app. When I load Hazel up and click the dropdown to select the shortcut again, no shortcuts are listed.

I am currently running macOS 15.2 and Hazel 6.0.3 on a Mac Studio.

Here is are some log lines that coincide with the problem:

Launch System Settings and go to Privacy & Security -> Automation.

Check any Hazel processes there and make sure they are enabled for anything Shortcuts related.

The Shortcut Events toggle under Hazel was already checked. I quit Hazel, untoggled it, retoggled it and started Hazel again. Unfortunately, it still doesn't list the Shortcuts.

If you launch Activity Monitor, is Shortcut Events running?

Yes, it is.

Try to find any other Noodlesoft or Hazel processes. Make sure Shortcuts and Shortcut Events is enabled for all of them. Post screenshots if you are unsure if something is Hazel-related.

I have to admit; I kind of gave up on fixing this issue and built a workaround using SyncThing. I was logging in to the forum to let you know and lo and behold, the list of Shortcuts is back again. Not sure what did it but I know when to take a win and move on.

I do see that you updated macOS since you originally posted. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Hello, new to the forum, and appreciate a lot Hazel for automating some boring tasks. Thanks for all useful replies already found on the forum.

Trying to improve some process, I want to transform pdf file to jpeg zipped file. In order to get that function, I am using Apple Shortcut, which is properly working. Trying now to automate that by linking my shortcut into Hazel.

Unfortunately, I face same issue than dratspiker : no shortcuts available to choose from, due to access not allowed to shortcuts app.

For the 1st time, Hazel asked me to validate access to shortcuts app, but at the same time spinning wait cursor is displayed and no way to select "allow" button. And Mac OS became instable. Need to reboot.

I tried then to directly declare access within system/security menu. Which stays, once done, properly set.
But same issue in Hazel when asking access rights. Also tried to reboot Mac and stop/start Hazel.

I am on Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1, using Hazel 6.0.4

Any help appreciated.

Can you check the Automation section in System Settings? You need both Shortcuts and Shorcuts Events to be enabled for Hazel.

Hello, found i was not on the very last version of Hazel. Once upgrading to the crurent last One, things became better and i finally managed to get it working. Sorry for wrong alert. And thanks for your help.
