I'm relatively new to Hazel so forgive me if the answer is obvious......

I have a root folder which contains several sub-folders and even a few sub-sub-folders. OK I can set Hazel to monitor a sub-folder but is it possible to monitor the root folder such that any modification in any of the sub-folders creates an action? In this case it would be to copy the whole of the root folder including sub-folders.

As work goes on it may lead to a change in any of the sub folders, so unless I create rules for each sub folder and any others in the folder tree something could go unrecognised

Basically, is it possible to create a single rule for the root folder which looks for changes anywhere in the folder tree and then copies the whole of the root folder to another destination?

Look up nested conditions. If you look up folder syncing in the manual, there's an example rule which does something similar to what you want.
