Was disappointed to see the email from you promoting Smile Software and their products. I feel very strongly that screwed over their users with the transition to subscription products and have quit all of their products as a result. The software isn't worth the price they want to charge.

Please don't encourage a company that so obviously wants to exploit me.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. Keep in mind that I did it because PDFpen is widely used in conjunction with Hazel so it made perfect sense to offer users a discount on that.

Whatever your thoughts on TextExpander's licensing model are, I suggest you engage Smile directly as they actually do want to hear this type of feedback (as long as it's constructive/civil).
