Hello!

I've set Hazel up to process invoices when they come in. The naming scheme for the files is:

Company Date.pdf

The Date in the filename needs to match the date on the invoice. Since the invoices often come in on Friday, which is my day off, I need some way to manually change or add the dates to the file names on Monday. I can't set Hazel to subtract the days to match since they do arrive on Thursdays now and then.

Does anyone know how to have Hazel ask me to manually enter the date for the file names as it process the files? Or is there a way for Hazel to reference the date the emails arrive and assign that date to the filename?

You can use "Contents contain match" to search the contents of the files, provided they are in a format Hazel can read, like PDF. Look up "match patterns" in the help for more info.
