FTP transfer slow

Hi there,

i use hazel to move some .xml files to a directory on our web server. There are only two files to move.
One has a size of 2,4MB and i takes over 8 minutes to move that file to the directory that is mounted on the desktop with Transmit. Any idea, why this is so slow?

Regards

Torsten

You are using the Copy action instead of the Upload action? If so, try using the Upload action and see if it fares any better.

If i use upload instead of copy or move, how can i delete the files after they are uploaded? Does Hazel recognize when the upload action is finished, so i can add the action "move to trash"?

Yes, the Upload action is all done within Hazel so it knows when the operation completes.

Works perfect. Thx. My fault. I expected to see the actual change date in finder. But that's wrong.
