access rights to unzipped files on server

I use Hazel to automatically unarchive files which have been imported by an FTP-Server. The user logged in is an administrator. The volume the files are saved to is an external hard drive of my server running on macOS 10.10.5 (Yosemite).

The problem is that the unarchived files are crated in a way that only one certain user (in my case one of several adminstrators) has the permission to write in these files (or delete them, which is important for me).

If I unzip files on my server manually, all administrators of the group "staff" are allowed to delete the manually unzipped files.

Is there a way to tell hazel that all users of a certain group shall be granted write permissions to the unarchived files?

Am I missing something?

Cheers for your answers!

No built-in way to do that. It should be possible using a shellscript. The chmod, chown and/or chgrp commands are probably what you need here.
