Dealing with .eml files Tue Jul 10, 2018 12:34 pm • by zdeubeu
Hi

I'm in the process of setting-up a workflow in which MailMate will export certain emails that contain a field with my (changing) client number. Then Hazel takes the .eml files and sort them in the folder of the corresponding client.

When the client number is in the email content, everything works well (contents / contain match, then move based on the match) but i can't figure how to set it up to work when the client number is in the SUBJECT of the mail.

I guess that this is due to the fact that the subject and the content are two different things, but i can't figure out which Hazel field i should use to test the content of the subject ?

Thanks for any help

Are you matching on Contents? For eml files, I don't believe the Subject should be any different. It's just part of the text of the file.
