I have a few thousand PDF's that have not been OCR'd.

How can I use Hazel & ABBYY Fine Reader to do this?

Try searching the forums as there are others here that use ABBYY.

I figured out how to fix this (at least for ScanSnap scanned docs) with an app included called Searchable PDF Creator which was included.

Use ABBYY Fine Reader to Batch OCR Existing PDFs
