In your opinion ..

What is the safest way for Hazel to measure if a growing file has stopped growing?
Case in point ... a video file thats been transcoded by some transcoding app

Not sure how reliable it will be but you can try something like:

Code: Select all

    If all are met
        Date modified is not in the last 5 minutes
        Size did not change


That will match if the file hasn't changed in the last 5 minutes. You might want to add something to make sure you aren't continually matching the file after you process it.
