New to hazel, have a feeling it is going to save me extreme amounts of time.

I am in the process of setting up rules and a question popped up.

Say I have a folder that contains mp3s and a few other files. How can I set up a rule that detects an mp3 within the folder and thus moves the entire containing folder to a new folder called mp3?

You can retarget a rule to a different file/folder via an AppleScript as described here: viewtopic.php?p=1545#p1545

I suggest giving that a shot and seeing if that does it for you.
