Transfer Speed / Run rules speed
Posted: Wed Apr 25, 2018 4:35 pmI have a rule set up so that when I plug in my DSLR camera into my computer, Hazel recognizes this and starts moving the video and image files from the camera's SD card and onto my solid state drive. I love this method because I can plug it in an walk away and when I return to my computer, I will have all my files imported and a fresh SD card.
One thing that I have noticed is that Hazel is a lot slower to move these files over than if I were to just drag them all over myself. I understand that these are big files that I am moving (sometimes several GBs each) but it does seem like Hazel is taking pauses in between transferring files. Is there anything that can be done about this?
