Searching for files within subfolders of a certain name

Hello everyone, very new user here and I already have a question for you all.

I want to take actions on:

a) a certain type of files (audio)
b) recently created
c) within subfolders
d) but only if the subfolder containing them is called "Bounced Files".

And that last d) point is where I'm stuck. Is this something I can do with Hazel and if so, how?

As an example imagine I have this hierarchy and want to apply the rule to the "Bands" folder:

Bands
-Band 1
--Sources
--Mix
---Song 1
----Audio files
----Bounced files
---Song 2
----Audio files
----Bounced files
---Song 3
----Audio files
----Bounced files
----etc
-Band 2
--Sources
--Mix
---Song 1
----Audio files
----Bounced files
---Song 2
----Audio files
----Bounced files
---Song 3
----Audio files
----Bounced files
----etc
-etc

Have you looked up "subfolders" in the help? If not, then do so. There's a chapter on how to get Hazel to go into subfolders.

Now from there, you can customize that rule to only go into the folders you want. If I understand you correctly, for subfolder levels 0-3, you want Hazel to go into any folder and for level 4, you only want it to go into the bounced files folder so create a condition to check for that. You might also want to search the help for "nested conditions" as you may need those here.

I looked into "nested conditions" and this is exactly what I was looking for indeed. Seems to work like a charm!
