“Ignore” being ignored......

Hi, I’m using 4.1.4 on High Sierra and watching a folder that is used for downloading video files. While these files are being extracted, the d/l program appends “Unpack” to the folder name. My hazel rule set looks for unpack in the folder name and then should ignore it. When the name is changed after the file is extracted, it polls as normal and should process the file that has been extracted.

My rule set has worked for a couple of years but 2 issues have occurred and maybe I can get some advice?

1. My original rules used “full pathname” contains “unpack” but they have been failing. I changed to “Full Name” and the rule now matches when I preview it. Has full pathname been amended to do something different than it used to?
2. Even with the above changes passing the preview, hazel is still processing the file while the folder name contains “unpack” and therefore the video file end up corrupted. I.e it seems to be ignoring the ignore action when the rules are matching...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Quick update.... I forgot to mention that the behaviour is not consistent. Last night for example,3 videos downloaded, 2 of them were processed as expected, the third one ignored the unpack and processed a file that was still being extracted.....

Did you email me about this problem? If so, let's continue the conversation there since I've already replied in that thread. In the future, please only post or email, not both, as it creates added confusion and work.
