folder help

i apologize if this is explained somewhere else. any direction/redirection is appreciated.

nonetheless in the case where folders containing music files, i ask hazel to delete them a few days after being added. and if the folder is empty after all the music files have been deleted, delete the folder too.

but how could I delete the folder automatically if other files remain, such as the album cover. its a jpeg or pdf, but so are other files that id treat differently when sorting.

i'd like someway to label the folder that has the music files and then delete after a few days but dont know how to do that?
if theres another way to delete the folder, it'd be appreciated as well.

So, you want to delete folders that used to have music files but no longer have them? I'm not sure if you can do that with built-in attributes. You may have to write a script to handle this type of case. Otherwise, if you know you strip the music files out pretty quickly, you can just delete the folders after some time later.

Did you find a solution or a script for this? I'm trying to do the same. I want to delete folders inside my Downloads folder automatically.
