help creating an "active" rule Sun Jun 20, 2010 7:42 am • by porly
Hello,

Hazel has been awesome so far (and I only downloaded her a couple of hours ago), but I'm stuck with something that I cant figure out. It is probably remarkably easy.

I'm trying to create a folder that contains aliases to files that I have recently been working on (say, in the last 2 weeks). I've been trying out a couple of different obvious rule types to collect this information but it doesnt seem to be working.

The latest version of the rule looks at a folder and asks if the 'date last opened is this month' or "date created is this month" or "date last modified is this month" and if any of these conditions are met, to create an alias in a file called active on my desktop. For some reason, this doesnt seem to work.

Can anyone offer some advice?

With thanks,

Paul.
