Hi, I am new to Hazel and absolutely love it. I have been able to do some cool things, and was wondering if there is an Apple Script, to be able to identify thru apple rules in mail, certain attachments, then move them to a folder that Hazel is watching and have her do her thing...
Thanks
Albert

Seems a bit outside of Hazel support here. You may want to check out general AppleScript sites as they may have something to do that.
Also, any attachments you open yourself in Mail end up in your mail downloads folder (settable in Mail's preferences).

Thank you for your reply, actually, I was able to use Automator to find the specific email, extract the attachment, and save to desktop, where Hazel takes over and moves to a specific folder.
The only thing I am not sure of is if I have to run Automator manually, (click on it) to have it do its thing, or if it does it automatically. I get this specific email every Friday, so will have to wait till this Friday to see.
thanks

What you can do is monitor the Mail Downloads folder: /Users/username/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library
The only problem is, that the attachment to emails is only saved to that folder when you access the attachment in Mail.

Oddly, Mail's rules doesn't have an action to run automator workflows. It does allow you to run an AppleScript though. You can either write a script to do what you want or have it run your automator workflow.
