Move after x months

I have been trying to work out how to get Hazel to move any item that is in a folder that is 6 months old and it is driving me mad! The scenario is this: after processing my photographs I put them in my Pictures folder in sub-folders named after the month that they were shot. I have 12 sub-folders Jan-Dec named YYYY-MM. So this year when I get to July 1st I would like January’s folder to be moved to a back-up disc. Anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks.

Is the folder created at around the same time as the photos within it? If so, can you not do "Date created is not in the last 6 months" (with some extra conditions to match folders and not other things in that folder you don't want moved).

Alternatively, you could use "Name matches (• folder date)" where you try and match the date in the folder name. You can then do a condition after that like "(•folder date) is not in the last 6 months".

Contents of the folder are added throughout the month in question so no the folder is not created at the same time as the contents.
With regard to your alternative suggestion I can arrange it so the name of the photographs contains the date of the folder but it will have other elements in its name e.g. "folder date_name of photo.tiff" but it will not be exactly the same as the folder name. It may be that I am trying to do something that is better done how I do it now: manually drag and drop the entire folder to my back-p disc! (I have even created an entry in Calendar which sends me a reminder every monte to do it).

As for same date, I mean that the date of the folder corresponds with the month in question. Also, the other suggestion is pertaining to the folder, which is the thing you are trying to move. The folder has the relevant date in the name so you can use that to move it at the right time.
