Just curious if it is possible to have a rule that sends me an email with the results of the operation when it executes

It is possible to set a growl notification on a rule, then within growl, set the alerts to emails instead of popups. That's how I managed it at the office anyway.

Hmmm. Growl is sending me empty body messages. I might try AppleScript.
