Wildcards in Filename, move to Wildcards in Folder

Hi!

Is there any possibility to do this:

In Folder "SCAN" are those files:
170318 This is some Filenametext 0253 0030.pdf
170315 This is someother Filenametext 0248 0041.pdf

Wildcard should detect 0253 0030 in the one and 0248 0041 in the other filename.

And move each to a folder that looks like:
****M Somefoldertext/
eg:
0253M Thisistheactualfoldertext/
and
0248M Thisistheotheractualfoldertext/

If the folder does not exist, do not move that file.

I am sure it works, but i am sure that i can't do it without your help.

Search the help for "match patterns". That should do what you want.

Thank you! That got me a little nearer to the solution :)

The files are recognized under the pattern i have chosen, but i can not sort them into the Folder i want them to. I only get the Error "Source and destination are the same."

File:
170404 Filename 0253 0090.pdf

Existing Destination Folder:
0253 Foldername

Match Pattern (• Haus=1,1,1,1):
…, ,• Haus, ,1,1,1,1

Sort into Subfolder Pattern:
• Haus,…

I am very thankful for any help!

That message might be pertaining to you having the rule match the folder and not the file. Can you post/email the output for one of the files in question?
