Made my first PDF OCR rules and now I'm stuck with a custom date format.

I'm trying to get "3 Apr 2017" to be matched from my PDF.

The problem I'm having is the month part. Hazel only has a month pattern of "dec." and not "dec" without the dot. When I replace the month part with "..." (anything), it matches but not for the month part.

Anyone an idea how I can solve this?

It's actually an Apple "bug". I'm guessing you are not using US English as your language/region? For some reason, Apple chose to add a period to the end of abbreviated month names for some non-US regions. To get around that, add US English to your list of languages.
