Upload photos to Wordpress media library

Hi,

I'm trying to create a workflow where I move some images to a folder and then Hazel uploads them to my Wordpress media library. I'm struggling to get the upload path correct so that the photos get organised into the right year/day/month subfolders.

Has anyone tried this before?

Thanks,
Paul

The best way to do that is to sort into subfolder locally. Once you have the folder structure in place, when you upload, you can tell Hazel to copy over the folder structure. You can't really manipulate that structure in the upload action itself.

So, to clarify, would this mean I have to set up folders for each month and day, then have a separate rule for each folder so that Hazel uploads to the corresponding folder for that month/day?

Yes. Also, you need to have a separate rule to go into subfolders. See the sticky article at the top of this forum.
