Copy/move speed slower than manual drag&drop

Hello!

I have a simple rule where I move files from int. to ext. drives based on Finder tags.

From SSD to SSD, int. to ext. or ext. to int., The Hazel rule moves files at a rate of 220Mbytes/sec.
When performing the same operation with a manual drag & drop under the Finder, I get the expected speeds of 380-400Mbytes/sec.

Any clue as to why this slowing down happens?

Thanks

Hard to say. Hazel is probably using a different function to do the move than Finder is. Are they both formatted HFS+?

Yes, both have same file format, HFS/MacOS Extended Journaled.

If it's a big issue for you, then email support as I'll need to dig much deeper into this. Are you willing to run a test build? I'll probably need to add diagnostics to help track this down.
