Rules aren't runned on folders

My main problem is that the hazel rules isn't processed on my folders, I've rebuilt the spotlight index but still no luck.
I cannot preview any folder from within the Hazel preferences panel. I also enabled the hazel debug logmode but I am unable to find anything that points to what's wrong, these rules has worked before on the same machine but for a few weeks ago stopped working.

Can you describe how are you aren't able to preview the rules?

The preview icon is greyed out, so I'm unable to click on the icon.

To clarify, you are referring to the rule status button (the "eye" button)? If so, you do have rules enabled for that folder? Can you provide a screenshot?

See my screenshot of the hazel panel with one of my folder where you can see both the greyed out eye icon as well as the amount of rules.

This setup has worked earlier but for some reason stopped working. If I select the downloads folder (Hämtade filer) and klick on the cog icon, and select run rules now nothing happens, nothing that I can see in the hazel log that points to anything that goes wrong. Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome on what might be the problem.

The rules aren't enabled. You need to click the checkboxes next to them to enable them. Once there is at least one enabled rule, the button will be clickable.
