rule to archive files in ONE archive after a defined time

Hej together,

what i want to do:
i want to have a folder where my pdf - files are stored and ONE-Archive file exists.

i want to create a rule where Hazel creates/modifies ONE archive file.
i want that hazel modifies (when exist) the archive file, when a pdf-file is older than 1week in that folder (move the pdf-file into the archive file)

Can“t find a possibility for that... Hazel archives every file to an separate archive, but not the files to ONE archive file.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks for your feedback in advance.

Best regards
Rolf

You can either have a rule match the folder and archive that as a whole or you'll need a script to do this. In particular, Hazel cannot add files to an archive so if the archive contains files that you want to keep but no longer exist in the folder, then you'll definitely need to go this route.

Hej,
thanks for explaining... that's what I was afraid of.
Have you seen some rules with script similar to my wishes here? If so, will you please post the link here?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
Rolf

None off the top of my head. Try searching the forums here as well as the internet at large.
