Hazel stopped recognizing .png as an image.

Kind is image.

The rule worked OK yesterday. Today, nothing.

Was there a recent update? Did it break this or is something else going on?

Can you show evidence of this? Like a preview of a png file where it fails on the "Kind is image" condition?

False alarm apparently.

I restarted the computer, then after about a 10 minute wait, it started to work again.

A bit late to the thread but see attached. I'm having the same problem. A reboot didn't fix it. Hazel *was* recognizing png using the same rule about 20 minutes ago. Then it stopped working.

Whoops. I should have read OP's line about "after about a 10 minute wait, it started to work again" more closely. Mine is now working too. :-)
