I want to associate a shell script to a rule. However, the shell script is inside a hidden directory and when I try to select the file, the Finder window that appears does not have any hidden file. Is there any way that the hidden directories appear in the window?

If you can navigate to it in Finder, then drag it into the file dialog to navigate to it there. Otherwise, try command-shift-. (I think that's the right key sequence) to show invisible/dot files.

Ok. Both methods work.
