Rename excel file based on contents

I need to be able to rename an excel file based on certain contents within the file. I know hazel can not search the contents of an excel file, but does anyone know of a work around for this. Maybe an "automator workflow" or a script that I can use??? Any advice is appreciated. just point me in the right direction.

A script is probably needed though I think it might be difficult since you'd need something to parse the Excel file format.
