Hazel Timing

How often does Hazel check rules? I'd like to set it so that the rules are checked every 5 minutes or every hour. Is there a way to do this?

It's not on a set schedule. It performs the rules whenever necessary, calculating it based on various things.

Is there a reason why you are asking this? Is Hazel operating too quickly or not often enough?

I would like to limit CPU usage. My rules are simple and do not need to be run that often.

Have you noticed Hazel taking up too much CPU? It's already pretty optimized so unless you see actual instances of it happening, I wouldn't worry about it.
