Hello Noodle Friends!

I'm trying to put together a recipe workflow that currently involves taking screenshots of recipe pages of the Cooking Light magazine app (because their app is the WORST, even though their recipes are great), and I'd like to have Hazel convert the PNG screenshots to PDF, then OCR them. The OCR process I have down pat via PDFPen, but conversion from PNG to PDF is strangely elusive. The Automator action New PDF from Images doesn't seem to want to save from the same folder as the images came from, or keep their same file names. Any thoughts!

Cheers,

Connor

I guess PDFPen doesn't take in pngs to OCR? Try searching the forums as there may be someone that's already solved this, albeit it may involved delving into scripting.
