I recently had some difficulty creating a pattern to match a Japanese-formatted date in a file. Here's the desired format (YYYY年MM月DD日):



Unfortunately, all the Japanese characters disappear when I try to edit the pattern:



Is there any way to edit Japanese characters in content matching patterns?

The images aren't coming through but there was a bug like that in previous versions. Are you running 4.0.2? If not, then update and see if that fixes the issue.

No, I was running 4.0.1.

The OP images are not displaying, likely because they're so old.

I'm running into a related issue where "Contents > contain match" is not matching Japanese date data YYYY年M⽉D⽇. I'm wondering if there is some incompatibility with unicode or… I really don't know why. Thank you.

Can you export your rule and send that along with an example file in to support?
