Just 1 Notification for new files possible?

Hello,

I've set up a rule to let me know if there are new files added to my photo inbox. If files are added hazel let's me know that by giving me a notification and also sending me an email via mail.
This works pretty good so far but hazel does that for each and every newly added file. So when I add a whole bunch of photos to that inbox I get accordingly that many notifications.
Is there a way to tell hazel that I only want a single notification for a whole stack of new files?

First off, you posted this in the wrong forum (Forum/site discussion). I've moved the topic to the correct place.

There's no way to do that since Hazel doesn't have any sense of what a "batch" is. One way to get around that is to have it match the folder and do it for the whole folder instead of individual files. Otherwise, you may be able to do something with a script.

Hello Mr_Noodle

I'm not quite understanding what you mean by saying: "One way to get around that is to have it match the folder and do it for the whole folder instead of individual files."
Could you please tell me the instructions that I have to tell hazel for that purpose?
Thanks in advance!!

For the most part, rules match folders as well as files. So have Hazel monitor the folder containing the folder in question. Set up the rule to match that folder and do the notification.
