Hazel 4.0 Filter files in a folder by "where from" attribute

There are a few financial websites where I download PDF statement files from frequently and repeatedly over time. I want to be able to use the "where from" attribute to help me filter and sort these files. In Hazel, when I select the "where from" attribute, the condition selections available include:

- contain item
- do not contain item
- contain match
- do not contain match
- is blank
- is not blank

I have a file in my Downloads folder that I downloaded from the AE website and I checked in Finder that the attribute "Where from" of this file has the URL of americanexpress.com as part of the URL string.

I tried using "contain item" and specify "americanexpress" as the predicate but the Preview to the Downloads folder says the rule does not match any file.

How do I use Hazel to filter files downloaded from a particular website?

Thanks in advance.

Use the "Source URL/Address" attribute instead. The "Where froms" attribute is a list which makes it a bit harder to deal with. The Source URL attribute is more straightforward and has more options.

I have a similar problem. I want to change filenames downloaded from bank website (.ofx files) based on information in the file. The info I need can be seen when the file is opened in TextEdit, and is the following format:
<ACCTID>00000000000000000

Can someone tell me how to do this?

Thanks,

Bver

That is actually a totally different thing. I suggest starting by searching the help for "match patterns". Also, search the support section (https://www.noodlesoft.com/support) as you'll find articles there as well.
