Getting Hazel to "re-register" with Growl.

Long story short, I've been trying to get Growl to pass on simple alerts via the network and for some reason its not working. Uninstalled and reinstalled growl only to have all my Growl tickets (applications that use it) deleted. I need to know how to get Hazel to re populate the growl apps.

Make any sense at all?

Well, Hazel is only responsible for itself. It has no control over any other apps' failure to register with Growl. If Hazel is not showing up in Growl's preferences, try the following:

  • Quit System Preferences
  • Launch Activity Monitor
  • Find the HazelHelper process. Select it and quit it.
  • Launch System Preferences
  • Click on Hazel

That should re-launch the helper process and hopefully re-register Hazel with Growl.

Worked Perfect. Thanks for the help.
