Hi,
I have a rule to import images to the Photos.app with the following conditions:
- Have a date formatted name
- Kind is image
- Have a green tag

The rule is working, but since Hazel processes one file at a time, the "Last Imported" album in the Photos.app is always one single image.

Is there a way to make Hazel import all matched files at once instead of one by one?
Maybe something that matches the folder that contains the files?

I would be interested in this as well. I have a folder I export to (from Lightroom). I would like the Hazel Action to only trigger if no new file has been added to the folder in the past 2 minutes.

But I can not find how to combine the conditions to achieve this :-/

There's no way to do this if you are matching files. You can try matching folders instead and importing the whole folder instead of each file individually.

I don't know if there's a simpler way to do this, but here's what I'm planning, still with a couple of questions.

- In the Parent folder (PhotosX) I created a specific subfolder for importing images into the Photos.app called "Add to Photos"
- Rule 1 in "PhotosX":
IF (all) are met:
Kind is Folder
Name is Add to Photos
Subfile/subfolder count is not 0
If (all) conditions are met for (subfiles/subfolder)
Date added not in the last 2 minutes *What I want to acomplish with this rule is that I delay Hazel so that the system have time to finish copying the images to this folder. Don't know if it's the best approach.*

DO the following:
Import into Photos to album (All Photos)

Now I want to make a rule that trashes the already imported images, but I don't know how to make sure to just trigger Hazel AFTER the import to photos.app.
- Rule 2 in "Add to Photos":
IF (all) are met:
Date last matched ??

Move to trash

Do you want to trash the images individually or is it ok to trash the whole folder? If you can trash the whole folder, then you can just do "Move to trash" at the end of the first rule. Otherwise, one thing to try is add a color to the folder after importing. Have another rule before the first one to match folders with that color label, and do "Run rules on folder contents". Then have another rule to move the files to trash (note that you may want to specify Subfolder level is 1 to prevent any files at the top level being thrown away). Doing it this way, the files will only get trash when Hazel is allowed to descend into that folder, which only happens after it is colored by the rule where it does the import.

I my case I want to move just the files to the trash. Thanks Mr Noodle, I'll try this approach.
