Move to Trash after completing an archiving workflow

Within my photo processing workflow I have a Hazel archiving action as follows:

If all the following conditions are met: KIND is Image
Do the following to the matched folder:
Sort into subfolder with pattern DATE CREATED
Open with application BetterZip

This leaves me with the application “BetterZip” open with the photos in it ready for zipping. I perform the zipping and save the .zip file, (appropriately named with the date of shooting the photos) to an external backup hard drive. So far so good. I am now left with a dated folder containing the original photos that I need to move to the Trash. Is there a way that this move to Trash can be done without me having to manually drag it to the trashcan? Cheers.

Is there a reason you are zipping the files interactively? Hazel's "Archive" action will create zip files for you or you can try and script BetterZip. If you use "Archive", it automatically throws away the original and if you automate BetterZip, you should be able to add a "Move to trash" action afterwards.

I have managed to sort it out by using Hazel's Archive feature as recommended, thanks for the advice. :D

I want to delete the original after archiving, but it's not working.

The original is thrown away when archiving. Are you seeing otherwise? If so, can you provide some more info on this?
