Synchronize 2 Folders (with subfolders) Sun Aug 23, 2009 9:03 am • by jhoelzl
Hello Guys,

i want to synchronize a folder "test" (with subfolders deep more than 3) to another destination folder.

So i startet to make a rule on the folder "test":

Rule 1: Any File --> copy to destination folder

Rule 2: If Kind is Folder --> Run Rules on Folder contents.

Actually, it doesn't work: If i make a new folder in a subfolder, Hazel doesn't create this folder in the destination-folder.
How can I make a rule that deletes a file or folder in the destination folder when i delete a file or folder in the source folder?

Can anybody give me a hint? Thanks! :)

Note that "any file" matches everything, files and folders alike. That means the second rule will never match. I suggest using the preview feature to work through the logic.
