Hi support,

Just bought Hazel last week and been testing with it.

My goal is getting rid of old files and folders on my FTP-server, but not remove my homefolders and a few other exceptions. I think I'm almost there, but the don't remove a 'home folder' exception I cant get to work,.

Can you please help me, I cant find any info on the folder-depth option in de manual. attached via WeTransfer are the screenshots of my rules and the folder-tree

"Subfolder depth is not 0" means every folder below the top level, which means nothing at the top level will be thrown out. Not sure if that is the intent or what you are seeing but you may want to look at that.

The toplevel-dir is the the directory where all the home-folders of our ftp live. These are linked tot he FTP-accounts so I don't want to remove anything at the toplevel, anything within these folders can be removed after 3 months.

Thats what I'm aiming for, however, it seems like nothing at all is deleted..

In that case, keep in mind that Hazel doesn't go into subfolders unless you tell it to so that rule will probably not matching anything useful. Read the sticky article about going into subfolders, keeping in mind that the folder can only match one rule, so keep the order of rules in mind.
