Hi everybody
I have installed a new OS on my mac and I have lost Hazel's rules.
May I take them back from a Time Machine's back up?

If you have a Time Machine backup, try the following procedure:
  • Quit System Preferences.
  • Launch Activity Monitor and find HazelHelper. Quit the process.
  • Find cfprefsd. Kill any that you can (some may be for other accounts and you can't kill them).
  • Restore the following:
    • In your Library/Application Support folder, the Hazel folder
    • In your Library/Preferences folder, the files starting with com.noodlesoft.
  • Reboot.

I had my laptop hard drive die this morning. I'm looking on the Time Machine backup and I'm not seeing a Hazel folder (in Library) nor files that being with com.noodlesoft. Was there a setting I need to have turned on in order to have had Hazel creating these all along?

<<Update>> I needed to have used the "Show Invisible Files" app to first find the Library folder within my user account. I was originally searching in the main Library folder a few levels up. Problem solved.
