Can you describe what is providing the SMB share?I'm using a Synology NAS, which is connected via Ethernet to wire router (as is the Mac I'm using Hazel on).
Is the mount location consistent or does it tend to change? When you hover over the folder in Hazel, it will reveal the path. The mount point is always
smb://192.168.1.20/downloads. When I hover over the folder in Hazel it simply reads
downloads > hazel. It doesn't show the full path (
smb://192.168.1.20/downloads/hazel).
Does that mesh with where the SMB mount really is?I believe it meshes, yes. When I navigate to the folder in Finder and drag it to Hazel, it is not added. That should indicate that the folder is already present in Hazel, yes?
Also, do you see any log messages about an undeployed folder?I DO see messages about an undeployed folder:
- Code: Select all
2015-08-28 18:24:22.823 HazelHelper[346] Attempted to run worker on undeployed folder: /Volumes/downloads/hazel.
I see that message several times.
