I want to be able to run a shell script inside any new folder that I create in a root folder that is being watched by hazel.

The script is the same. All I can get its to execute the script in the root folder instead of any inf¡dividual new folders

any know any solution?

See the sticky article at the top of this forum about going into subfolders. I suggest doing it on a set of test folders/files first to make sure it behaves how you expect.
