Changing name of destination folder

I have a lot of different rules set up involving the actions "Move to Folder A", "Move to Folder B" etc..

If I change the name (not the destination) of Folder A and Folder B in Finder, the name change is not automatically reflected in the Hazel rule.

Is there a way to make this happen?

Did you quit System Preferences and reload Hazel? Hazel does normally store aliases for folders so should be able to track a name change.

I quit system prefs, tried stopping and restarting Hazel - sys prefs is still running in Activity Monitor - is this the issue?

Hazel pref.pane shows the new folder name, after name change, on the left hand Folders Pane - but when I select any of the Rules which use this folder - the old folder name is there and the folder is a slightly lighter blue. When I run the rule it does not move the files.

Just tried restarting Mac - no joy

I guess Hazel lost track of the folders somehow. In that case you'll have to reset the destination folder in the rules.
