Unable to Content Match a Date Thu Jun 04, 2015 4:28 pm • by gskidmark
Hello,

I am having a difficult time getting Hazel to locate dates in a PDF bank statement. I have had success with Hazel finding dates in other statements but for whatever reason can not get this one to fire.

I have a condition that is set to CONTENTS and CONTAIN MATCH. I then have a Custom Date set in which I have set to Dec [space] 31 [space] 1999.

Here is the date line that I copied directly from the PDF:

Code: Select all
Statement Period: May 04 2015-Jun 03 2015

I am trying to choose the 2nd date (Jun 03 2015). Is it possible that the hyphen between "May 04 2015" and "Jun 03 2015" is causing Hazel to not recognize these as dates?

Thanks,
Gary

Do you have the day set to two digit days? Click on it and make sure to select the option with both digits underlined.

Can you get it to match the first date? If you email the file and the rule in to support, I can take a look and see what's going on with it.
