E-mailing a file? Mon Feb 16, 2009 6:11 pm • by simonlewin
I'm really sorry if this is a daft newbie question!

I'm hoping to find a way for Hazel to look in a specific folder and sending any new files it finds to a specific e-mail address.

Is this possible? I thought it might be but can't find documentation.

Perhaps I need to combine Hazel with something else?

Any help gratefully received!

Thanks,

Simon

There's no built in way to email files. You will need to either use Automator, AppleScript or a shell script to do this. I don't know how experienced you are with any of those but you can try googling around for pre-made workflows/scripts. If you need more help on this, post here.
